Edo, Edo I Love You - The Sequel

Day 4 was spent in Tokyo Disneyland!
Morning call came at 5am and breakfast was at 6am at the hotel's coffee house. Everybody's excited as it's a first for most of us to be in the fantasy world of Walt Disney.
Well the first impression was the place was super clean. There are cleaners on rollerblades appearing out of nowhere at the first sight of any rubbish! The place was packed, mostly with Japanese families and countless tour groups. There are souvenir and gift shops every 20steps and there are just so many things that I wished I could buy if I have a big fat bank account. Everything is so kawaii, meaning cute.

So after all picking and choosing, I finally decided to buy a Winnie the Pooh cushion for Nicholas, that was quite longish in shape and it cost 4410 yen (S$60). Besides that I bought quite a number of confectionery items that came in beautiful containers.
Shopping took up a large portion of the time and with the queues at every ride and attraction, we really had to select the must-see shows. One of the best was the 'It's A Small World' attraction.
We came at just the right time to catch the Christmas Parade, THE highlight of the day. Giant floats with all of the Disney characters were simply awesome and the dancers and even Santa Claus and his sleigh!

All too soon it was time to go and we left promising ourselves to come back again for all of the stuff that we'd missed, though God knows when that'll be!!
We headed for a Thai restaurant in a shopping mall somewhere near the Disneyland and had a delicious authentic Thai dinner, followed by more shopping!
We reached the hotel, had time to put our purchases into the room then we were on our way to Roppongi, the infamous area for bars and clubs and foreign men.
We found a disco/lounge that charges only 1000yen per pax for 2 drinks and spent the night drinking and dancing.
Day 5 - morning call at 0500hrs!! We have to pack, breakfast, checkout and board the coach by 0700hrs so as to make the estimated 2 hours trip to Narita Airport ( traffic jams!).
Well we made it in under 2 hours, so check in all done and it's time for more shopping!! I managed to blow another 4000yen at the airport with purchases of little purses and whatnots.
Finally boarded SQ997 at 1100hrs and on the way home to Singapore.
